Video I
* A Must See for Parrot Lovers *

Video I features five performing parrots. This video presents a lively and entertaining display of bird tricks, many of which are original. Adding to the entertainment are the distinct personalities of each parrot. Poopsie, a green-cheeked conure, was the first bird Tani extensively trick trained.  She is the smallest and also the oldest of the five.   Squawk, a blue-crowned conure, actually holds a conversation with Tani, and is probably the most talented of the group. Cassie is a black-headed caique. She is the clown of the show. Video I also introduces Kiri, an African grey and Prince, a crimson-winged parakeet. Since the video was made,, Tani also has added Xena, a hawk-headed parrot,  and Rikki, a lilac-crowned amazon, to her show.

Video II
Videos II, III, and IV are easy to follow guides for teaching your bird the tricks seen in Video I, "Fantastic Performing Parrots." It works for all parrots: budgies to macaws. Video II presents basic training techniques which are essential for any trick training. The tricks taught in the videos use positive reinforcement methods only. Anything involving punishment is counterproductive with birds, and is not used or recommended. Topics covered are: appropriate rewards to use, how to give commands and signals, what constitutues a tame bird, the training area, length of training sessions, and step-by-step demonstrations of how to teach your parrot those first important tricks: the turn-around, (always an excellent first trick), shake hands, the wave (which can be used as hello, goodbye or even a salute), the kiss, wishing well, forward rolls, the dismount, and backward flips, plus others.

Video III shows you how to teach the all-important retrieve, plus some of the related tricks based on the retrieve like ring on the peg, basket ball, coin in the bank, puzzle board of shapes, ringing a bell, raising the flag, and the pull toy. Playing dead, and it's related tricks of juggling a ball, holding a baby bottle, and the parrot cocktail will be explained and shown. The roll over and the somersault are taught, and finally innovative behaviors are shown and explained.
